Dear Diary,
I had an early meeting with the professor before the class started, because I was not sure whether to disclose my stance towards the protest in Hong Kong, especially when there was a big difference between the Chinese and HongKongers in terms of opinions on nationality and politics.
Ning, Louis and Shraddha presented their stories. I learnt from their enthusiasm when they talked about their 10 cards.
Then I met Hoda, a year 2 student. She is making an animation about women status in her homeland, Iran. She showed me her animatic and it was beautiul. I admired the dynamic flow of the images and the use of exotic music. We exchanged our own backgrounds from where we are from and shared a common state of mind, the fight against tyranny. Hoda also talked about how to deal with classmates that may argue with your vision, it is simple, we should be only loyal to our own vision. Hoda is really cool, and I wish her all the best.
